In 2018, IFAW’s Marine Mammal Rescue and Research (MMRR) team celebrated responding to our 5,000th stranded dolphin. 1990s IFAW’s MMRR program is launched and the first marine mammal rescue occurs. With research and lessons learned, the MMRR program has become an extremely successful program today and highly regarded by many marine experts in the country.
